Ahh… the wonderful world of reverb! But should you use the reverb on your amp or a pedal? That’s exactly what we're going to get into in this episode of How Do You Work This Thing?! Personally, I like the sound of natural spring reverb, but Chelsea prefers the versatility of a reverb pedal. Either way, knowing how to dial in and use reverb with your guitar rig can make things sound a lot nicer.

When you are first getting into reverb pedals, it can be a little difficult to tell the exact differences between the different reverb types like hall, plate, or spring. We will dig into the differences between these reverbs and give you some basic settings to try out for yourself. A lot o this comes down to personal preference, but knowing how to work all of the parameters like decay, tone, fx level, and reverb type can help you get to that tone you hear inside of your head much faster.
If you are having trouble with any area of playing the guitar, book a private video lesson with me. The first one is complimentary, so there is no risk.
If you haven't signed up for the full complimentary Guitar Foundations course, do that here. It makes for a much more cohesive experience.
