SYNTH GOD M.A.S.S. (Music Automation and Sound Synthesis) Tech Talk 2021 was is a one-day event about the current state-of-the-art and future of digital music synthesis and the influence of Artificial Intelligence on music creation and automation presented by Northeast Ohio ACM. CROSSROADS: Digital vs. Analog Synthesis was a discussion about the “Future of Synthesis”. At this year’s SGM, we covered how sound synthesis is generated and the different types of synthesis such as: Physical Modeling, Subtractive/Additive, Sampling, and FM. In PART II, presenter James Dittrich discuss Reverberation and Convolution, and Cameron Hughes moderates a discussion on "What is the Future of Synthesis?"
