Let's revisit the Down4Sound JP8 and find out if this little beast can handle some torture tests. In this video I'll 1) try the amp with low voltage input (12V), 2) try with 0.8, 0.6 and 0.5 ohm resistive loads 3) Heat up the amp to find out what temp the fan turns on and 4) Thermal imaging and final thoughts!
Amp is rated to deliver:
490W at 4 ohms
650W at 2 ohms (500W at 12V)
850W at 1 ohm (700W at 12V)
Also said to be stable at 0.5. We'll find out in THIS video!
