Water Heater Diversion Load and Capacity Test

Издатель
Let's find out what the total usable capacity is of my mixed up battery bank. I have some LiFePO4 and some Li-NMC cells working together in the same battery bank. This is not the ideal way of building a battery bank. I did it this was because I've been adding batteries over time as I get the money and build them up.

Half this video is setting up the wiring for the bottom water heater element on my hot water tank. This will server two functions. First, it gives me a fixed load for capacity tests (which I'm doing in this video). Second, it will allow me to wire the bottom element to a relay and control it as a diversion load. I'm not doing the diversion relay in this video, that will be in a future video. In this video I'm just manually turning on the water heater with the circuit breaker.

All the batteries in this video were purchased at https://batteryhookup.com/ you can use my coupon code DAVIDPOZ for a discount. The code also helps out the channel through the affiliate program. Thanks.
